Beauty icons of the 80s
When talking about the beauty icons of the 80s many could be mentioned: Prince, Michelle pfeiffer, Boy George, Joan Collins... But, probably some of the ones that became a milestone in the history of beauty were Madonna, Iman and Brooke Shields.
MADONNA:
Madonna released her first CD in 1983, and since then she has had an enourmous success. Many times called the queen of pop, her outstanding looks became an inspiration for girls and women all over the world. She is considered the most iconic and influential woman in the history of music.
IMAN:
Iman, who was a model of Somalian origins, was well-known in the decade mainly because she was one of the first africans in the modeling industry. She was an inspiration for great designers like Yves Saint-Laurent and she developed her own makeup brand (Iman Cosmetics) where she captures her beauty knowledge and her essence.
BROOKE SHIELDS:
Brooke Shields, both model and actress, started her career when she was only 12 years old. Her go-too look consisted on natural makeup and wavy hair. At the same time, her naturally thick and bold brows were part of her signature look, and were adored by every girl.
